Open Innovation

ANTOLIN i.JUMP is Antolin's open innovation initiative to work with  engineers, physicians and other STEM profiles, as well as startups, SMEs, technology centers and universities. The aim is to strengthen and accelerate the R&D&I and technological development of the company.

Antolin seeks to create an open ecosystem of exchange of ideas and knowledge. The goal is to develop innovative solutions and new ways of innovation and collaboration with which to face the enormous challenges of the automotive industry.

ANTOLIN i.JUMP forms part of Antolin’s innovation strategy and is also part of its policy for attracting talent. The company needs the best professionals so that it can lead the current digital transformation of the automobile industry, in both products and processes.


Committed to open innovation

The company will take part in and support initiatives and events that strengthen the innovative spirit and technological development. Antolin wants to improve communication and collaboration with the different open innovation ecosystems.

The main goals of our open innovation strategy are:

  • Attract and catch external vision, talent, knowledge and capabilities for ours innovation challenges.
  • Develop new solutions of products and/or processes.
  • Develop external innovation teams: new models of innovation and partnerships.
  • Participate in initiatives and events to promote innovation and support entrepreneurship.

Another initiative is our Design Challenge: a competition, now in its second edition, that seeks to share our commitment to design and innovation with students from around the world by giving them the opportunity to showcase their ideas in the automotive world.



Since May 2021 we are part of the well-known open innovation ecosystems, Plug and Play Spain, as Anchor Member, and its European arm, Startup Autobahn (Stuttgart, Germany) and Mobility Silicon Valley as Ecosystem Member. Currently, we are working together in different technological challenges, launched to their startup community, to maintain our leading position in the transformation of the automotive industry from inside the vehicle.
Since October 2021 the company has collaborated with the well-known Cardumen Capital platform to search for solutions to selected technological challenges launched to their network.
Grupo Antolin has launched a program of challenges in partnership with ennomotive, a leading open innovation platform for resolving technological challenges, involving more than 15,000 engineers from across the world. Grupo Antolin launched in the past 6 challenges with this platform involving 305 solvers from 33 different countries with 111 different solutions. The latest one is GA Artificial Vision (March 2022) whose main objective, is to define and validate, by means of a demonstrator, a system for detecting defects in leather using artificial vision, scanners, or any other alternative.
Grupo Antolin has launched a program of challenges in partnership with Wolaria. This initiative impulsed by the regional government seeks to accelerate entrepreneurial projects with the impulse of companies and sectors of reference in innovation and guide the way to grow innovative business activities.
POLO positivo is a program to accelerate industrial projects launched by Grupo Antolin together with four other companies from Burgos (Gonvarri, Aciturri, Fundación Caja Burgos and Calidad Pascual). This program seeks to attract talent to the industrial sector and is aimed at entrepreneurs and SMEs through 3 different programs.
Grupo Antolin is a collaborating member of CYL-HUB; an international HUB of innovation and technological entrepreneurship in the region of Castilla y Leon (Spain). Its objective is to connect the nine provincial ecosystems of Castilla y Leon with each other, as well as to promote and connect it at an international level.
